SECTION 1: PURCHASES
1.1 Right to Cancel and Return (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
You have the legal right to cancel your purchase and return the product within 14 calendar days from the day after one of the following two dates (whichever is later):
– The day on which you receive the order confirmation email, or
– The day on which the product is delivered to you.
This right is provided in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If more than 14 calendar days have passed since the applicable date, you will no longer be eligible for an automatic return under statutory cancellation rights. However, you may still contact us at support@arcticengines.co.uk and we will do our best to assist you on a discretionary basis.
Once a cancellation notice has been received by us in writing and the goods have been returned in compliance with our return requirements, we will process your refund without undue delay. In most cases, you can expect to receive your refund within 14 calendar days from the date we are notified of your decision to cancel, subject to our receipt of the goods (or sufficient evidence that they have been returned).
1.2 Overview
Our refund and returns policy is valid for a period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the purchased item. If more than 14 days have elapsed since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return:
– The product must be unused, unmodified, and in the exact same condition as it was when received.
– It must be returned in its original packaging, with all original accessories, inserts, manuals, protective covers, and other items included.
– A valid proof of purchase must be provided (such as a sales receipt, order confirmation, or invoice).
Under no circumstances should a customer send back any item to the manufacturer directly without receiving prior written authorisation from Arctic Engines Ltd.
1.3 Damage, Tampering, or Misuse
We strictly do not accept returns or issue refunds for products that have been:
– Subjected to physical damage, including but not limited to cracked casings, water ingress, or broken ports, not caused by delivery mishandling.
– Tampered with internally or externally in any way, including but not limited to rooting, jailbreaking, overclocking, or software modification.
– Used with unauthorised software, cheats, hacks, or third-party modifications, including but not limited to gaming exploits, automation tools, macro software, or any attempt to bypass system security or monitoring mechanisms.
Such actions constitute wilful damage and will render the item ineligible for refund, replacement, or warranty.
1.4 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted, at the sole discretion of Arctic Engines Ltd, in the following situations:
– The item is returned in a non-original condition, shows signs of use, or is missing components not due to our error.
– The item is returned more than 14 days after delivery, with prior written agreement.
The amount refunded in these cases will be proportionally adjusted based on the product’s condition and any missing parts.
1.5 Refund Processing
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item:
– You will be notified via email that your returned item has been received.
– We will inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the inspection outcome.
If approved, our refund will be processed within a reasonable time frame, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.), depending on your card issuer’s policies.
1.6 Delayed or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
– Recheck your bank account and/or credit card statement.
– Contact your credit card provider, as there may be a delay before your refund is officially posted.
– Contact your bank, as processing times can vary.

1.7 Sale or Discounted Items
Only items purchased at full retail price are eligible for a full refund. Items purchased under discounts, promotions, or sale pricing are non-refundable except where required by law. If approved for a return, such items will be refunded at the price actually paid, not the original price.
1.8 Exchanges
We will only replace items if they are:
– Defective due to manufacturer error, or
– Damaged during delivery.
To request an exchange, please email support@arcticengines.co.uk. If the replacement is authorised, you must return the item to the address provided by us. Exchange requests must also be made within 14 calendar days of receiving the product.
1.9 Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless otherwise stated. You will receive a prepaid return shipping label with a barcode, which you should affix to the package.
Please note:
– Shipping costs are non-refundable.
– If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the final refund amount.
– We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of your returned item.
SECTION 2: RENTALS
2.1 Rental Charges – Accrual Period
Rental charges accrue on a daily basis, commencing from the date of delivery of the equipment, as confirmed by tracking information from our chosen logistics partner.
Rental charges continue to accrue up to and including the date the equipment is received back by the courier or delivery agent on behalf of Arctic Engines Ltd. The official return date is defined as the date shown in the courier’s tracking update confirming receipt.
2.2 Deposit and Rental Charges
The Renter shall pay a deposit equal to the full retail value of the equipment (inclusive of VAT). This deposit is held against:
– Daily rental charges.
– Potential damage or loss.
– Violations of usage terms.
Rental charges are deducted from the deposit upon return and inspection.
2.3 Equipment Condition and Responsibilities
You are expected to keep the equipment in good working order, free from damage, tampering, or misuse, and to preserve all original packaging, manuals, cables, accessories, and documentation. Any of the following will result in a deduction from your deposit or complete forfeiture:
– Returning the equipment in damaged or altered condition.
– Failing to return accessories or packaging.
– Using unauthorised modifications, software, or tools on the device.
– Use of cheats, hacks, game automation tools, unauthorised firmware, or any system tampering constitutes a violation and will be treated as wilful damage.
2.4 Return and Inspection Process
You will receive a prepaid shipping label for returning the equipment. Return shipping is your responsibility and is non-refundable.
Upon return, we will conduct a full inspection to check for physical condition, software status, and any signs of misuse. You will receive an email detailing the findings and any deductions, if applicable.
2.5 Refund of Deposit
Provided that the equipment is returned in acceptable working condition, with all accessories and packaging intact, and no signs of damage or tampering:
– The refundable deposit shall be returned to you within 14 calendar days, minus:
– All accrued daily rental charges;
– The cost of return shipping.
Refunds shall be issued to your original payment method, although actual receipt of funds may vary depending on the processing timelines of your bank or payment provider.
2.6 Late Returns
If the equipment is returned after the agreed rental period:
– Daily rental charges continue to accrue until it is received.
– Excessive lateness may be considered non-return, and the full deposit may be retained unless otherwise agreed.
2.7 Ownership and Responsibility
All rented equipment remains the sole property of Arctic Engines Ltd. You must not attempt to sell, pawn, or dispose of the item, open or dismantle the equipment, or use the equipment for any illegal, commercial, or high-risk purpose. Loss, theft, or unreturnable items will result in the full deposit being retained.
